Lenovo ThinkVision L220x
If it weren’t for just one ‘but’ Lenovo ThinkVision L220x could be quite a good monitor both for home and office use. Nifty, unostentatious yet attractive design, superb ergonomics, good calibration, short response time all these contribute to good image of L220x. Nevertheless its main advantage is the S-PVA matrix – while almost all other 22″ monitors turn dark if looked at from below and turn bright if looked from above – L220x can be easily recognised by perfect viewing angles. By the way here is a drivers for lenovo monitors.
Alas there is one ‘but’. Some ThinkVision L220x monitors have congenital defect that cannot be corrected by any adjustments and that is low picture resolution. After test running two monitors we failed to attain perfection: the first one was absolutely unfit for work while the second turned out to be much better yet suffered from the above said defect. So if you decided to purchase L220x make sure to check the sharpness at 1920×1200 and DVI connection and that is as much important as traditional check for dead pixels.
